Courses at the Woodwork Academy
The craft of woodworking is very enjoyable and acessable, yet it is the finer skills that enables woodworkers to turn out really fine pieces of furniture. It is the aim of the Woodwork Academy to teach those finer skills which will open up a wider range of possibilities to students.
An emphasis is placed on hand tool skills as the correct entry point but not exclusively. The craft is an integration of both hand and power tools skill is knowing how and when to use which.
The school is open to adults (men and women) and to school-going children (boys and girls).
